Specialized in the Italian landscape, his archive contains half a million photos, many in medium-format film.
His journeys on foot include: twice across the Apennines and three times across the Alps from end to end; four thousand kilometers along the coasts from Trieste to Ventimiglia; the circumnavigation of Sardinia and Sicily; Camminaitalia, eight months in the mountains to promote the Sentiero Italia; PasParTu, six thousand kilometers without a fixed destination through an Italy that trusts; the Appian Way from Rome to Brindisi. Europe from Trieste to Denmark at the fall of the Berlin Wall, the TransAlpedes from Vienna to Nice, Occitania a pè from the Alps to the Pyrenees, and all of Scandinavia to Nordkinn. His latest adventure, 365 Times Europe, is narrated here through his photographs.
