Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 6:30 PM, the Circolo Arci Gong in Gorizia will host Riccardo Carnovalini and Anna Rastello for the presentation of "365 volte Europa" (365 times Europe). This will be a unique opportunity to discover the most significant images captured during their year-long journey on foot across Europe: a visual narrative exploring lands, borders, and cultures from a slow and authentic perspective.

at the Museo della Bora in Opicina (Trieste), screening of the documentary "Parliamone" (Let's Talk About It). The film was created during an intergenerational workshop featuring Paolo Rumiz, Riccardo Carnovalini, and two senior classes from high schools in Trieste, focusing on the theme of borders.

Photography Masterclass with Riccardo Carnovalini and Anna Rinaldi
A special day dedicated to photography, walking and the gaze. A unique opportunity to learn, experiment and be inspired together with two exceptional professionals: Riccardo Carnovalini and Anna Rinaldi.
Within the framework of the exhibition 365 times Europe, which tells the story of the journey on foot by Riccardo Carnovalini and Anna Rastello, the opportunity to walk and learn from a true master of landscape photography and walking storytelling. To remind us that the best way to understand the world is to cross it on foot with curiosity, respect and wonder, and to reveal the right techniques to collect stories and details in a single shot.
Program:
- 9:30 AM Meeting at the Borarium in Opicina for a theoretical introduction
- 11:00 AM Start of the photo-walk towards Trieste, with time for shooting and discussion
- 15:00 Arrival at Knulp, with viewing and processing of the photos and a toast for the closing of the exhibition 365 times Europe.
All you need is a smartphone or a camera.
The masterclass will be held even in case of rain (in which case, bring an umbrella!). Bring comfortable shoes, a small backpack with a water bottle, a packed lunch or sandwich, a piece of fruit and a light jacket.

Come walk with us!
Excursion in Val Rosandra: history, geology, fauna, flora, and vegetation. With Dario Gasparo (MiTi OdV), biologist and CAI Naturalistic and Cultural Operator.
Program for Sunday, May 10
10:00 am – Meeting at the Prešeren Theatre in Bagnoli to visit the exhibition "365 volte Europa"
10:40 am – Visit to the Visitor Center of the Val Rosandra Nature Reserve
11:00 am – Departure for the hike from the visitor center.
The excursion includes a stop at the Premuda mountain hut, followed by the "Via delle Acque" and the "Path of Friendship," passing below the small church of Santa Maria in Siariis and above the waterfall to reach the Slovenian border at Botazzo. From there, we will reach the Cottur cycle-pedestrian path to follow the track of the old railway to Moccò, before descending back to the mountain hut.
And for the perfect finish, we will head to the Majenca festival for a convivial moment with food, drinks, and a good chat!
